The
Australian Council of Jaguar Clubs (ACJC) was formed in 1984-85
to promote communications and cooperation between the eight
major Jaguar Clubs in Australia.
|
- Jaguar Drivers’ Club Queensland,
- Jaguar Drivers’ Club Hunter Region,
- Jaguar Drivers’ Club Australia,
- Jaguar Drivers’ Club Canberra,
- Jaguar Car Club Victoria,
- Jaguar Car Club Tasmania,
- Jaguar Drivers’ Club South Australia, and
- Jaguar Car Club Western Australia.

It also acts as the focal
point for the relationship between the Australian Clubs and Jaguar Land
Rover Australia, by providing a communication channel for matters of interest to
all the Australian Clubs. Each club has one representative on the Council
that meets twice a year in February and August to consider matters of
national importance to the Jaguar movement. The most visible activity of
the ACJC is the annual Jaguar National Rally for which the Council is
responsible for the rules and broad scale management aspects of the rally
and the related Post Rally Tour. The rules governing the management of the
rally and judging of Concours D'Elegance and Concours D'Etat vehicles are
promulgated in the National Rally Manual.
Jaguar Land Rover Australia is the corporate sponsor of the ACJC. Their support is important in ensuring the Council's ability to fulfill
its role and also contributes to the success of the Jaguar national rallies.
Last, but certainly not least, the ACJC seeks to promote camaraderie
between Jaguar enthusiasts both within Australia and overseas.
